Belong Together

In Daily Devotional, Friends, Life Issues by Paul Fraser

Theme of the Week: Don’t Go through Life Alone

Bible Verse: For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith. Romans 12:3-6

I suppose after reading this week’s devotionals, you could still choose to do life alone. My question would be: Why? Why go through life alone, when there are so many benefits of doing life together? Jesus has brought us all together and desires to see us walk together in life and faith. Let’s make this a priority moving forward.

Before we say goodbye to another week of devotionals, let me remind you of the benefits of doing life together!

Remember we are Better Together

God knew this, so He connected us deeply to one another through Jesus.

Remember we Become Together

Who God wants us to become is developed in community and relationship.

Remember we are Balanced Together

Being balanced is so important to keep us from falling – and nobody wants to see other men fall.

Remember we are Burdened Together

Be aware of each other’s struggles and be willing to share each other’s burdens.

Remember we Battle Together

We battle for each other because when others win, we win. If you win and others lose, you both lose, because we are so closely connected.

Remember we Believe Together

Faith is increased and power is released when we believe together. Agreement in faith and prayer is so important.

We Belong Together

Coming out of the last two years, let’s work hard with a determined resolve not to do life alone. We need you and you need us!
