Do You Ever Feel Frustrated With Yourself?

In Daily Devotional, Faith Journey, Spiritual Growth by Darryl Dash

Theme of the Week: Why We Can’t Get Our Act Together?

Bible Verse: Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3, CSB

Scripture Reading: John 3:3-5

Do you ever feel frustrated with yourself?

The Apostle Paul did! After observing the battle within himself to do the right thing, he asked, “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?” (Romans 7:24). Paul learned the truth about himself: that he couldn’t change himself no matter how hard he tried.

That’s what we’re going to look at this week. We don’t need a better version of ourselves. We are dead people that need to be alive. But God has done everything necessary to change us, removing all condemnation from our lives and giving us the Holy Spirit to change us from within.

This week, we will unpack our real problem, God’s solution, and the difference it can make in our lives. Join us as we look at the good news amidst the brokenness of this world.
