Relationship With Jesus

In Bible Reading, Daily Devotional, Spiritual Growth by Mauricio Rosa

Theme of the Week: Relationship With Jesus

Bible Verse: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” Colossians 1:27b CSB

Scripture Reading: 2 Peter 1:3-15

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with gall bladder stones. From that moment, my life changed. It affected everything, from sleep to diet. Suddenly, there was an awareness of my physical limitations and, quite frankly, how old I was becoming. I realized I could no longer eat bacon bits with blue cheese melted on a bun at eleven o’clock at night with a can of coke…

As we grow in our walk with Jesus, suddenly, there is an awareness of the significance of what that means and its effect on our lives. Like suffering from gall stones, it has a daily impact on your life. But different from gall stones that limit you, the awareness and presence of Jesus in our lives liberates and empowers us.

What are these truths and their impact on our lives?

This week as we will explore 5 truths:

  • Our Bragging Rights
  • The Perfect Leader
  • The Cross
  • Seeing the Invisible
  • Jesus, the High Priest
