Bible Verse:  “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19, ESV

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 43:10-21

It’s finally 2021!! Who isn’t happy to see the end of 2020? I’m ready for a fresh start and a new beginning. How about you? New beginnings are often part of the typical seasons of life. Sometimes it comes from our own desire to do something new, and sometimes the catalyst for a new start in life is caused by unwelcome circumstances. My greatest new beginning was the day I gave my life to Christ. My most challenging new beginning was starting a new career after 25 years. starting a new career after 25 years.

Regardless of what causes your new beginning and sets you on a new course, it’s no surprise to God. Quite often, it can be God taking you where he wants you to go. And he will take you places you never thought you could go. The key is to stop focusing on the past, don’t discount humble beginnings, be willing to take risks, and don’t let fear hold you back.

See new beginnings as opportunities for God to do great things in and through you. Embrace new beginnings with an expectant heart and trust God for the next steps. No matter where you’re at, He’ll make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
