You Are Fullness by Young Oceans

For anyone looking for a more ethereal worship experience, check out Young Oceans and their latest album, You Are Fullness.

If you’re in need of a quieter, meditative space, You Are Fullness is perfect to put on in the background. Light of Your Love slowly builds and opens up a musical soundscape of timid drums and shimmering guitars. The lyrics share a picture of resting in the arms of a good God:

You tell me that I
Am free as a child
I’ve nothing to fear
In the light of Your love
In the light of Your love
My heart is Your home
Never abandoned
Never alone

Again, this is not the album to inject some energy into your day or a soundtrack for your workout. But, if you’re hoping to set a worshipful mood, songs like First Love combine powerful imagery and lyrics with emotive electronica:

I think I knew You even when I was dust
Scattered and dry
Sill a marvel in Your mind
I think I knew You even when I was dust

Oh and now
I thrill to walk beside You Lord

I was always
Always
Your first love

If you’re willing to let each song build and expand, and you have the patience to let the music set the stage, You Are Fullness is perfect for setting the stage for praise and worship in your car or at home.
