Find Your Cave
Guys don’t want to show their flaws. Hey, you can try and go it alone, and life may run like a well-oiled machine, but sooner or later you’re going to mess up or make a bad decision. When these circumstances arise, having a sanctuary – or man cave – is vital. This is a place where you and God can hang out and talk. A place where He can teach us and have our full attention.
Find your cave.
Work the Land & Trust God
God wants to partner with us to produce bumper crops in our lives that far exceed anything we’ve ever anticipated. If it was easy, they wouldn’t call it “working” the land! Plant your dreams, your goals, then let them grow and put away your shovel!
Taker or Giver?
What are you investing in? Are you a taker or a giver? Do you understand that we need to recognize God for who He is, not just what He does for us? Deposits could be made in many ways. Appreciate God by showing your thankfulness and gratitude. Be generous, give a portion of your earnings in tithe, and be an example at your work or in your community. Don’t just be a taker; be a giver.
No Tools Needed
All we need are the tools He has provided for us. Every time the disciples (like us) questioned Him or had doubt or fear, it became an opportunity for Jesus to give them on-the-job training. Trade your shoes for sandals today. Take a crash course in discipleship and learn from the ultimate teacher.
Tailgate God on the Road of Life
If you think about it, road signs are a lot like God. They’re warning to protect us and designed for our own good. They aren’t made to punish us and be controlling. Signs are in place because serious accidents happen when we ignore them and think we are above the law.
