God’s Promises
The Scriptures are full the promises of God and reminders of His faithfulness. As we begin a new year, be reminded of God’s person, presence and provision – no matter what we face. Be encouraged by the truth of His word.
How to Play
- Each person will have a turn.
- Select a category and amount (i.e. Jeopardy style) to reveal one of God’s promises.
- A Bible reference will be displayed.
- The host will reveal the text. Each person will read their Bible verse out loud.
- BONUS POINTS (but we’re not keeping score): if you have previously memorized the verse, let the host know not to reveal the text. Recite the text from memory out loud.
- Dean will make a few comments on your verse.
