A New Purpose and Perspective

In Daily Devotional, Life Issues, Purpose by Darryl Dash

Theme of the Week: All Things New: New Perspectives

Bible Verse:  “So remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of adversity come.” Ecclesiastes 12:1, CSB

Scripture Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

A new year is a perfect time to think about new beginnings and to ask big questions about the purpose of our lives and how that purpose makes a difference in our everyday lives: work, family, and more.

There will never be a better time to do this. According to Ecclesiastes, we will have diminishing opportunities to get it right. So, it’s important to ask these big questions now and to let the answers change our lives so that we don’t miss out on the reason God put us here.
