Have you ever read something so many times, and become so familiar with a story, that you miss some of the more significant elements? In my family, some of us have watched certain TV series or movies multiple times. Each time, we discover something in the details and plot that we missed the first time through.

In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches his disciples how to pray. But in this very common passage of Scripture, he teaches us something we often miss because of the routine of praying “The Lord’s Prayer.” In this moment, Jesus helps us to see how God connects heaven and earth. Watch the video for more.
