Victory Provided

Theme of the Week: Living Out the Victory

Bible Verse: “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:57; 1 John 5:4, James 1:1-5

Jesus conquered sin and death through the cross and his subsequent resurrection. But what about us?

God has provided that victory for us. He has provided a way for us to live a completely different kind of life — the life of an overcomer. It only comes through Jesus. It is his ongoing gift to us. Therefore, we can’t help but give thanks to God for this wonderful gift.

This week, we will explore how the resurrection of Jesus gives us victory and what are the implications of it for our everyday life. We are victorious because:

  • of who we are in Christ.
  • we are dead to sin and alive to God.
  • we put our trust in God.
  • we are living for the eternal.
  • as we submit to God, we have power to resist the devil.
  • we are given the victory through Jesus Christ!

Join us this week and be encouraged as we continue to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Share this devotional with your friends. And if you have not subscribed to our online devotionals, subscribe here.
