This week we have explored what it looks like to reorganize our lives so we can maximize our impact. Here is a recap:
- Responding to our culture of busyness:
Sabbath helps us to question our assumptions. The truth is that we may be busy because we feel a need to validate our worth. - Responding while working:
Honoring the Sabbath (and not overworking the other six days) will give us an opportunity to grow in our trust of God and experience his faithfulness. - Developing a rule of life:
It [is] possible to be both deeply prayerful and powerfully engaged in making the world a better place. - Choosing Sabbath in the ordinary:
Our Sabbath rule will set us free to enjoy God and glorify him in all things.
