Where Did you See God Today?

In Bible Reading, Daily Devotional, Faith Journey, Spiritual Growth by Mike Gordon

Theme of the Week: The God Who Tells

Bible Verse: “Come near to God, and he will come near to you.” James 4:8, NIV

Scripture Reading: John 6:22-40

I remember being new to church and somehow signing up to go on a mission trip to Mexico while I was in high school. Each evening the speaker would ask our group a simple question: Where did you see God today? I thought he was nuts, and that feeling was magnified when people in our group would put their hands up, sharing where they saw God throughout the day. Although I was confused at first, this question became life-changing for me as I understood God reveals himself to us in many different ways.

This week for our devotions, we are going to look at different ways we can understand how God reveals himself to us in our day-to-day life.
