Welcome to the Impact Partner Report.

We are so grateful for your monthly support of the ministry as an Impact Partner, and for helping Impactus reach men across Canada and around the world. Here’s an exclusive snapshot of how YOUR support is making a difference in the lives of men and those around them.

YOUR IMPACT

Double Your Impact Campaign

Thanks to many faithful donors, we ran a Double Your Impact Matching Campaign for monthly donations this year. Various donors pledged over $52,000 in matching funds for the campaign that began at our November 2023 conference in Burlington and concluded after our April 2024 conference in Winnipeg.

Praise God, we raised $4,325 per month, which was matched, for a total of over $103,000.00 for the year. These funds more than doubled our ministry impact in reaching men for Jesus.

Double Your Impact Campaign 2024-2025

We’re excited to announce that we have launched a new Double Your Impact Campaign for 2024-2025. We are incredibly grateful for donors who have pledged $59,000 to date in matching funds for a new campaign. Every new monthly donation made throughout the campaign will be doubled. As well, any current Impact Partner donor, who increases their monthly donation will see the amount of the monthly increase doubled, helping us reach more men across Canada and globally as we equip men and leaders of men for godly impact.

Fiscal F25 1st Quarter Report (June 1, 2024, to Aug 31, 2024)

We continue to see increasing connections with men across Canada and globally. As of August 31st, we had 491,122 ministry connections, which is on pace to exceed our goal of 1,877,707 ministry connections for Fiscal F25. We praise God for allowing us to reach men globally through online resources, social media connections, and in-person events. We had the opportunity to minister to many men online in Kenya, a partnership that began with an online article read by a men’s ministry leader.

Here are some of the ways we ministered to men in the first quarter:

Here’s a testimonial we just received from a Daily Devotional email recipient:

“Your bible studies uplift me on a daily basis. I have had a great spiritual awakening of the last few months. All that I have needed God has provided for me. Wonderful. I have never prayed on a daily basis as much as I have over the last few months. Thank you Impactus.“

Men’s Ministry Leadership Summit

We held our 4th annual Men’s Ministry Leadership Summit on September 23rd live from Crossroads Studios in Burlington. It included three of the leading voices in Men’s Ministry – Steve Sonderman (No Regrets Men’s Ministry) , Kenny Luck (Every Man Ministries) and Chris Harper (BetterMan).

Over 140 men’s ministry leaders watched live, and the Summit replay has been viewed over 240 times to date. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, as men were very engaged and impacted by the speakers and the panel discussion on ministry to men. Watch the Impactus Men’s Ministry Leadership Summit here.

A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greetings Impact Partner Family,

We’re so very grateful for your continued support of the ministry of Impactus. Monthly support is mission-critical for our ministry, so we can’t say enough how grateful we are for your generosity and commitment to the Lord’s work.

Now that we are in our conference and event season, I wanted to give you a sneak peek into the thinking and theme of our upcoming events. We’ve chosen the idea of “Rooted” as our focus stemming from Paul’s words to the Colossians:

“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”  (Colossians 2:6-7 NLT)

Why did we choose this theme? The root system of a tree supplies the necessary nutrients for the tree and supports the growth in the canopy above ground.  As believers, our faith lives must consist of more than just what is visible above the ground. To survive and thrive these days requires more than surface-level faith. Spiritual, emotional, and relational health requires a deep work of the Spirit. These things take time and are often produced in solitude, prayer, time in the Word, humility, and even in the painful moments of our lives. When the storms of life come, and they will, being rooted and grounded is paramount for stability and resilience. Roots may not be glamorous, but they are essential.

If the Colossian believers needed to be rooted in their day, how much more do we need to be rooted in Christ in our day? I firmly believe that as men get rooted, they will be ready to engage their world with the love, grace, and power of God. Thank you for partnering with us to see that vision become reality!

Grace & peace,

FINANCIAL TIPS

In a World Full of Gambling

Gambling has become an increasingly prominent part of modern culture, especially with its pervasive presence in sports advertising. For many men, this can be a tempting and often confusing issue. From a biblical perspective, understanding what the Bible says about gambling can provide valuable guidance as we seek to be men who steward God’s resources well.

The Bible does not explicitly mention gambling as we understand it today, but it does provide principles that can be applied to this issue. Here are some key biblical perspectives:

  1. Stewardship of Resources
  2. The Love of Money
  3. Contentment
  4. Integrity and Honesty
  5. Avoiding the Appearance of Evil
