Nothing is Ordinary. Everything is Beautiful. by Apollo LTD
Record Label: Residence Music

Apollo LTD returns for the second album with the glossy and optimistic Nothing is Ordinary. Everything is Beautiful.

Upbeat, fun and funky, the band is infectiously optimistic. But rather than coming off as naïve, they anchor their bright outlook on the promises of God, his grand plan for his people, and our identity in Christ.

Rulers brings to mind Romans 8 as they sing:
Heart of a conqueror
Heir to the crown
Chasing after kingdom come
Turning these streets to hallowed ground.

They don’t downplay pain and struggles either, but put tough times in perspective on tracks like You:

It can be a hard, hard thing just being alive
It can be a dark, dark thing when you’re trying to hide…
Every story, every scar
You are loved the way you are
There’s nothing you need to prove
‘Cause heaven knows your name
There’s a reason you were made
Fearfully and wonderfully you.

The album just keeps rolling with inspired, catchy hits like Soldier On and Just What I Needed. When so many albums feel like a few singles and padded out with filler, it’s really hard to point to any weak tracks on Nothing is Ordinary. Everything is Beautiful.

If you need to forget about the drama of social media and doom and gloom of the news for 44 solid minutes, put on Apollo LTD’s latest offering and remember that God’s plans for you and his world have not changed. He wants to partner with you today to bring heaven to earth.
