Iron Sharpens Iron – The Impact of COVID and the Sharpening of Men

In Ask by Impactus

Have you ever felt alone or like you are the only person going through whatever struggles you are facing?  Have you ever wished you could find a place to be sharpened in certain areas of your life?

A 2019 study indicated that 23% of men always or often feel alone or isolated. More men than women feel this way. Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”  Men need a space to connect with other men in order to be sharpened in life, and they need the encouragement to do it.

Isolation is a trap that leads to terrible consequences. Being connected with others is a key way to become a better man.

COVID means we are unable to host any live conferences this fall. To help men stay connected, we have launched a series of online Men’s Small Groups. We are also running online Workshops each month where men can be equipped for a life of purpose and godly impact.

You can help us continue to equip men for a life of purpose and godly impact by making a special one-time donation today: www.impactus.org/give
