Theme of the Week: Making the Most of Vacations

Bible Verse: “Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk—not as unwise people but as wise — making the most of the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15–16

This week we’re going to talk about vacations. Yes, vacations.

Vacations can be great. But vacations can also be stressful and expensive. Sometimes we can get back from vacations even more tired than when we left.

How can we make the most of our vacations? How can we not just step away from everything but actually make the most of our vacations physically, spiritually, relationally, and more?

In Ephesians 5:15-16, Paul tells us, “Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk — not as unwise people but as wise — making the most of the time, because the days are evil.” This refers to vacation time as well. We want to take wise vacations and make the best use of our vacation time so that we can love God and others better.

That’s what we’re going to look at this week.
